Heather Suttie is a Glasgow-based presenter.
In the 1990s she presented BBC Children's Saturday morning show Live & Kicking
, children's science programme Hyperlinks, ITV2's youth entertainment show Bedrock and appeared on Channel 4's' 'MovieWatch'.
On radio she hosted Beat 106's Breakfast Show and drivestime shows. From 2006-08 she presented the drivetime slot on Xfm Scotland.
Suttie has more than 500 hours live TV experience and has worked with Princess Productions, Done & Dusted, Blink TV, ITV2, BBC1,BBC2 and STV. She also contributes short music interviews and segments for T in the Park.
Hers include voice-over work includes monster.co.uk, Clairol, and in 2009, a TV ad for the 'Rockness'http://www.rockness.co.uk Music Festival.
Suttie also does corporate events and charity work for NCH Scotland, Breast Cancer Care and The Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice.
As an awards host, she has worked on events for the CIS Excellence Awards (2005–2009 ), The Evening Times, Property Executive Awards (2007-2009 in Glasgow & Manchester ), and a number of events for the Herald Newspaper.
Suttie currently writes a weekly clubs column for The Evening Times. A weekly column for The Sunday Post
was terminated in November 2009.
In 2003 she married Gerry McCusker. The couple announced their separation in 2009.
Say No to Plastic is Suttie's campaign to encourage Scots to stop using plastic bags with a website and Facebook Group, encouraging consumers to reduce, reuse, recycle. A fan of vintage clothing, she promotes the reduce, reuse, recycle message with Charity Vintage Sales held at Oran Mor, Glasgow.
