Biography

In 2004, Heather Baker and a group of friends formed the band As Night Falls. But shortly after the release of their debut EP The End of All Innocence, Baker left the band while the remaining members formed a different band.

Following the demise of As Night Falls, Baker formed The Afterlife in 2006 with her best friend Rachel Sinfield. Starting in 2007, they collaborated with producer Sergio Chavez to record tracks for a future CD release. Two demo tracks are currently featured on their MySpace site. On October 2008, Sinfield left the band due to personal problems. She was replaced by guitarist Kevin Teale. The Afterlife also consists of bassist Joey Caligiuri and drummer Robert Zimmermann.

In late June 2008, The Iron Maidens' official website announced that Baker had departed from the band to focus on family commitments and her solo career.

In mid-February, Baker was contracted for artist Kerli (Island Def Jam) to perform on behalf of the "Alice In Wonderland" Premiere in Hollywood. In late-February 2010, following the departure of Marsh, Baker rejoined the Maidens for a handful of shows under the alias "Dee Murray".
