) and Ah Yat (Lai Lok-yi) share a memory of their childhood in which Lam Lam falls off her bicycle and Ah Yat and Ah Lok help her. Ah Yat gives her a four-leaf clover and Ah Lok helps her bandage her cut. Lam Lam thought Ah Yat and Ah Lok were the same person because they wore the same outfit.
The story starts off with Cheng Ka Lam and her aunt, Mei/Miss. Cheng, trying to put together a newspaper group with at least 5 people for the school magazine. Lam makes a bet with her aunt and ends up winning with 5 people joining: "Man Man" (Elaine Yiu

Like most siblings, Ah Yat, and Ah Lok sometimes bicker, but they are loving brothers who get along well most of the time, although Ah Yat sometimes tries to use his age as an advantage. Don and Ah Lung have been friends since they were little, but Ah Lung is more of Don's little sidekick/lapdog. Ah Lung is very loyal to Don. Although she is the love interest of Ah Lok and Don, she has her eye out for Ah Yat. Lam Lam enters the drama on the first day of school as she slips on a banana peel dropped by Ah Yat. She likes sodas and hiccups every time she hears the word "water". She also likes four-leaf clovers as a result of a childhood memory which involves Ah Yat and Ah Lok.
