in the Karlovy Vary Region of the Czech Republic
. In 2008 the village had a population of 1 665.
and 10 kilometres southeast from Aš
, about 550 meters above sea level. Through the village flows Hazlovský potok.
It neighbour with Lipná
to the west, with Táborská
to the southwest, with Ostroh to the south and with Vojtanov
to the east. To the northeast there is the German border.
. Other owners of the village were: the Landwüst (from 1450), the Kocov (from 1579), the Dětřichov, the Nostitz
and the Moser. Last nobility owners were the Hemfeld (until 1945).
To the end of the 18th century, Hazlov was mostly an agricultural village. From the 19th century a textile industry
expanded in the whole Aš-region, include in Hazlov. The first textile factory was opened in 1822.

History
Hazlov was first mentioned in 1224, as a property of the noble house of Hazlov (Haslau). Bedřich from Hazlov probably build a castle, which is located in the village. In 1401 is Hazlov bough by the Nicholas Jur from ChebCheb
