Station Plaza is situated in the town centre, directly next to Hastings train station. Its large, light-filled atrium is part of 22,000 square metres of study spaces and social zones. Classrooms are equipped with the most up-to-date resources and each one has an interactive whiteboard. Students have 24/7 access to lessons and learning resources from home via wiki, podcasts and teacher / student blogs. Station Plaza also houses IT suites, a gym, performing arts and dance studios, an art gallery, a Costa coffee shop, a training kitchen, a professional hair salon, a Subway Franchise restaurant, a restaurant, a learning resource centre and audio-visual / media equipment.

Ore Valley

Less than a mile from Hastings town centre, this brand new site has 7,000 square metres of realistic working environments, workshops and ‘live build’ areas, where students build, wire, plumb, fit-out and decorate a full-size house in the central atrium. Students have access to the latest equipment and digital technology, a sports pitch, diner and coffee shop. The site is adjacent to Ore Valley train station, with Hastings town centre just one stop away.

This campus houses most of the construction and ICT / Computing courses.

Motor Vehicle Centre

The Motor Vehicle Training Centre in Bexhill offers qualifications and hands-on training in all aspects of vehicle maintenance, repair and restoration. A former working garage, the centre has undergone a makeover and has IMI (Institute of Motor Industry) accreditation and approval to deliver E3 and Levels 1 to 3 Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Apprenticeships. Sussex Coast College Hastings is working in collaboration with St Leonards-on-Sea MOT Test Centre, Sovereign Coachworks and Bexhill 100 Motoring Club, who house vintage cars on-site and provide technical knowhow on restoration.

Demand for places is high there are currently 5 groups registered to study, as well as a waiting list. The Motor Vehicle Training Centre is looking for donations of small vehicles for students to work on.

Energy Centre

With mounting environmental concerns over energy use, conservation is more important than ever. The new Sussex Coast College Hastings Energy Centre commercial facility has been created to meet current and future market sector skills needs for renewable energies.

This is part of the college's continued commitment to the green agenda, and educational led regeneration, and we aim to meet the needs of learners and employers from the local and wider community. This unit also includes the facilities for operatives to renew trade licences.

The Energy Centre is located on the largest Industrial estate in Hastings/St Leonards with easy access and good parking facilities, and will be using the latest industrial standard equipment for training purposes.

The Energy Centre can offer courses such as: ACS (CORGI) accreditation, 17th Edition, PAT testing, Unvented Hot Water, Biomass, Solar Domestic Hot Water, Sustainable Energy for Construction, PV, Water Regulations, Part P, Rainwater Harvesting, Carbon and Energy Management, SMART meters and Solar Thermal for Installers.
