Performance

The school has consistently exceeded expectations for examinations results for its intake range of students.
When the DfE (then DCSF) in 2008 established a minimum threshold of 30% of students attaining 5+ GCSEs including English and Maths for all schools, to be achieved by 2011, Hartsdown immediately surpassed the standard with 32% of students reaching this level in 2009, followed by 43% in 2010.
