Programs

Hart has multiple programs and activities, such as the laptop program, choir, and band. Hart has participated in activities including Go Green headed by Mrs. Everton. Hart has a laptop program where students use their laptops to do work in Language Arts, History, and Science. Hart Middle School's journalism class produces a monthly newspaper. Their media class broadcasts new programs on Tuesday and Thursday. There is also a yearbook committee that is available for students to join.

Extracurricular programs

The choir goes to Disneyland every year and the Band program also goes there every year with the exception of some years where they go to Washington D.C. and New York. The band program is headed by Mr. Aquilina.

Hart Middle School has an extra curricular sports and activities program. The 8th grade girls basketball team went 32-0 in league play this year, as well as the both boys' basketball teams winning the championships. The 8th and 6th grade girls cross country team won first in the league championships, and the track team continues to do well in long jump and high jump. The volleyball team, open to all girls, has two teams. The Hart Middle School Honor Roll and Principal's lists are for students who get a 3.5 or higher and a 4.0.
