Harry Lewis Benson was an English
footballer.
in 1901. He spent six years at the club before moving on to Northampton Town
and then onto the newly reformed Port Vale
in December 1908. His first game was against Vale's rivals
and Benson's old club, or rather their reserve outfit, Vale lost 2–1. He was their first choice left-back between December 1908 and December 1910, but was released in 1911.
