These include an accident and emergency department, cancer services, specialised medicine, rehabilitation and older people’s services, children’s services and women’s services. There is an intensive therapy unit, coronary care unit, cardiac cathederisation laboratory plus five main theatres, a 20 bed day surgery unit (DSU) with two further theatres and an emergency obstetric theatre in the maternity unit.
Heatherdene houses the renal unit, occupational health, IT department and the GUM clinic.
