In Rock and Ice, Issue 152, Rands revealed just how much the footage had affected her; after slightly misplacing her feet, she reached out for a sloping hold: "Just when I touched the sloper, where Jean-Minh fell, that image flashed through my mind. I thought, 'Ooh, better try harder.'"
