Company History

Founded in Atlanta in April 2008 as a part of Sunday Paper Publishing, LLC, the
website originally focused on selling gift certificates in exchange for print
advertising. In January 2009, Apollo Creative Group, LLC became the major
shareholder of Sunday Paper Publishing, LLC, and spun off Half Off
Depot into its own company, Half Off Depot, LLC. In April 2009, Half
Off Depot began expanding into other markets by affiliating with other
publishers who would sell print advertising in exchange for gift
certificates that would then be sold on Half Off Depot's website,
halfoffdepot.com. In October 2010, Half Off Depot introduced revenue sharing

There are many categories of deals in which customers may browse and make purchases at any time - including restaurants, entertainment, health & beauty, destinations, family, products, services, golf and pubs/clubs/bars. The shop offers a depth and breadth of experiences that allow customers to get out, have fun and be adventurous without having to pay full price.
