Hair Clay is also known as Clay in the hair industry. Clay is a hair product that has very similar characteristics to hair wax, they both have good hold. The most noticeable difference between clay and wax is the matt texture clay provides. Clay has a little to no shine, meaning a stylist can achieve a very natural and dull look.

Clay product have a lot of good features, however they leave residual clay when applied too much. That is, it can leave visible streak marks on the hair if applied poorly.
