Mixed martial arts career

Hae Joon Yang started training in MMA at the age of 15 and made his professional MMA debut in 2008 when he was 19. Ever since, Hae Joon Yang has fought 5 pro fights at heavyweight and was on a 5 fight winning streak. Hae Joon Yang started fighting at 205lbs light heavyweight from 2011.

Wrestling and grappling

Hae Joon Yang started wrestling in his high school senior year of 2006 to strengthen his wrestling skill as he wanted to become a complete MMA fighter. After several months of training, Hae Joon Yang captured the 2nd place of 'Korean National High School Wrestling Championship' in the same year.

The Korean MMA fighter is also currently a collegiate wrestler. 'Hungry' wrestles for YongIn University wrestling team which is #2 ranked team, nationally.

Hae Joon Yang is also the winner of '2009 Korea BJJ open tournament 2009' at absolute weight division.
