The station is a two-level station. The ticketing and fare control are located on the upper level, which is at ground level. Tickets are bought from vending machines, and there is a ticket counter which is open during busy times. This level also features benches and a display case.
After passing through the fare control area, passengers go down to the lower level platform by stair or escalator (there is no elevator). The platform is located in a large cement trench, below street level. Besides the two tracks for the High Speedline, a third track also runs through the station, but it is not accessible from the platform. This third track is mainly for the New Jersey Transit
