HMCS Patrician departed for Halifax, Nova Scotia one month later in the company of her sister ship (ex-) and the cruiser (ex-). The three ships were offered by the Royal Navy to replace the RCN's and .

HMCS Patrician saw service with the RCN through the 1920s and was decommissioned and scrapped in 1929.
