Gretsa University was started in 2006 when it opened its doors to its first batch of students pursuing Degree programmes in Hospitality, Tourism and Business.The University is recognized and certified by Commission for Higher Education (CHE). As of October 2010, Gretsa University is offering at least five fully fledged Degree programmes including:
- Business Administration
- Hospitality Management
- Agriculture and Rural Development
- Travel and Tourism
- Computer Science
There are Diploma and Certificate programmes in the above areas, all offered in either Full-Time, Part Time or Distance Learning Mode.
