Greenmoney

Greenmoney or Greenmoney Productions as they are sometimes known, are a production/DJ outfit from West London, UK.

Greenmoney is made up of 'Leo Greenslade' one half of yOyO with Polydor record executive Seb Chew, a night based at The Notting Hill Arts Club and 'Alex Phountzi', formerly of the Bugzintheattic production outfit and another West London institution. The pair have a shared love of black music and hit the studio at the end of 2008. They also record at a secret "rave shed" location known as Greenmoney HQ.

They have since gone onto provide remixes for A-Trak and Nick Catchdub's Fools Gold label for DJ Gantman and 'Kid Sister' as well as for other artists like Kanye West, Busy Signal, Yo Majesty, Trevor Loveys, Aswad, William Orbit, Twizzle, Terry Lynn and LA rapper Sibley.

They are currently working on original material due for release early 2010, featuring the vocal talents of Lady Chann (Suncycle), Mz Bratt and Serocee, and also host a radio show which is broadcast weekly via 'Ministry of Sound' radio and 'Brooklyn Radio'.

Greenmoney are looked after by the Coda Agency for dj bookings and have so far played sets at Fabric Live London, The Blast in Bristol, Bigger Than Barry Birmingham and are on tour with Radio 1 DJ Annie Mac for Annie Mac Presents as well as the Fools Gold Records UK Autumn Tour 09.
