, USA, and serve about 240 students from some 30 surrounding towns, including Fairfield, Trumbull, Monroe, Stratford, Westport, Milford, and numerous others. Founded in 1961, GBYO has a reputation as one of the finest youth orchestras in the region. It was led for more than 25 years by Robert Genualdi. When Mr. Genualdi retired as Music Director and Principal Orchestra Conductor, Theresa McGee stepped into the dual roles. GBYO consists of four orchestras:
