The Granville Female College was a historical women's college located in Granville, Ohio

. It was estabilished in 1838 and closed in 1898.
In 1867, the name of the Institution was changed to Granville Female College, the course of study has been enlarged and the fine arts are claiming more and more attention. It has developed the talent of a large number and sent them forth as teachers, particularly in the department of oil-painting and instrumental music. The school has departed somewhat from the original designs of its founders, but the changes have been well considered and in response to the demands of its patrons. It stood among the foremost schools west of the Alleghenies in facilities for female education at reasonable rates of expense.
In 1923, John Sutphin Jones, a coal and railroad magnate, commissioned the construction of the Granville Inn, a historic English manor inn in the Jacobethan Revival style
on the site of the Granville Female College.
