Goldstein College, University of New South Wales is one of the residential college

, and is one of the three Kensington Colleges (the other two being Basser and Baxter Colleges). It is located on High Street of the Kensington campus, between Gate 4 and Gate 5.
Goldstein College was named after Philip Godfrey Goldstein (1895-1963), who had arrived in Australia in 1911 as a migrant from England. In 1959 he donated ₤40,000 (Australian) towards the construction of the Hall and College, which initially housed women and postgraduate students, and was the first college accommodation for women on campus.

History
Goldstein College was opened on 30 June 1964, along with the Goldstein Dining Hall which is used by all three of The Kensington Colleges. It was designed by the Government Architect, Mr E.H.Farmer, and a member of his staff, Mr Peter Hall, who later became the supervising architect of the Sydney Opera HouseGoldstein College was named after Philip Godfrey Goldstein (1895-1963), who had arrived in Australia in 1911 as a migrant from England. Campus
Its 74 places are open to any students enrolled at the university. It comprises two buildings surrounding a grassy courtyard accessible only to residents. Three meals per day during session are provided at the nearby Goldstein Dining Hall which is shared with residents of the other Kensington Colleges - BasserBasser College
