Golden-i is a Head Mounted Computer developed by Kopin Corporation featuring a monocular head mounted display. Utilising a speech controlled user interface
and head-tracking functionality, Golden-i enables the user to carry out common computer functions whilst keeping their hands free.
Kopin Corporation are currently working with Motorola Solutions to evaluate bringing a version of Golden-i to market.
Vocon 3200 speech recognition technology that exposes on-screen commands to the user. In addition, a 6-axis head tracker supplied by Hillcrest
Labs adds an extra perspective which can enable rich user experiences without the need for mouse or keyboard input.
Despite this, a mouse or keyboard can still be connected through either Bluetooth
