Biography

Gopalan was born on 23 July 1944. He has a BSc Maths graduate from Government College Madapally and is the chairman of Sree Gokulam Public School and the managing director of the Gokulam Group of companies, including Sree Gokulam Chit & Finance, Sree Gokulam Medical College and the Sree Gokulam chain of hotels. He has risen to fame with the production of the Malayalam film Pazhassi Raja. He is also the leader of the Sree Narayana Dharma Vedi (SNDV) and the president of Sree Narayana Dharma Paripalana Yogam (SNDP) branch in Chennai.
