GlobeCast World TV is a direct-to-home provider of free-to-air and Nagravision
-encrypted ethnic television and audio channels via the Galaxy 19
satellite received in North America. GlobeCast World TV is a division of GlobeCast, which is owned by French telecom giant France Telecom
.
In North America, the satellite broadcasts dozens of arabic and asian channels.
In Europe, the GlobeCast World TV service was officially launched in June 2007, but was discontinued in 2008. It was received via Intelsat
905 satellite and was providing a bouquet of ethnic TV channels from India and Pakistan.
It is the North American satellite television service that carries Al Jazeera English.

It is recommended that if you plan on loading the extra channels on your system, you contact GlobeCast Customer Support. This will reduce the possibility of loss of channels, ot service issues.
