 (President of Jujamcyn Theaters), Givenik is a unique service allowing theatergoers to buy theatre tickets and give 5% of their ticket price to the charity of their choice.


What is a Givenik? Give·nik (n.) 1. a person whose passion for charity is matched only by his/her passion for all things Broadway; 2. a user of givenik.com.

At present, more than 450 organizations (and counting) have joined Givenik, from national groups to local chapters, and from arts organizations to educational institutions. Any certified non-profit organization can sign up to be a part of Givenik.com for free to develop a new, year-round fundraising mechanism. The organizations that have joined Givenik.com since it launched in 2007, from national groups to local chapters, and from arts organizations to educational institutions, include The Trevor Project, VH1 Save the Music Foundation, City Harvest, Broadway Green Alliance, Dress for Success Worldwide, God’s Love We Deliver, The Actors Fund, Stand Up to Cancer, Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, The It Gets Better Project, New York Theatre Workshop, local chapters of Susan G. Komen For the Cure Breast Cancer Foundation, the Museum for African Art and the American Foundation for Equal Rights.

Givenik Ambassadors

The Givenik Ambassador Program features cast members of hit shows discussing the causes and charities they support in short video blogs. Through this exciting new element of Givenik.com, fans will have the opportunity to pose questions to upcoming Ambassadors via Givenik’s Facebook and Twitter feeds.
