Giuliano Carmignola is an Italian violinist.

In the 1970s, he undertook international concert tours with the ensemble I Virtuosi di Roma, often collaborating with a piano and string trio. In 1971 he won the Premio Citta di Vittorio Veneto competition and in 1973 the 5th prize in the Paganini competition in Genoa
.
In the subsequent period, he joined with the most renowned orchestras in Europe, under conductors like Claudio Abbado
or Eliahu Inbal
. For ten years he was professor of violin at the Venice Conservatory and he also taught at the Music Academy of Siena. In 1999 he received the appointment to the Academy of Music Lucerne. From 1978 to 1985 he was concert master of the opera orchestra at the Teatro La Fenice in Venice. Since his collaboration with the ensemble I Sonatori de la Gioiosa Marca and the Venice Baroque Orchestra Carmignola, Carmignola is one of the renowned soloists on the Baroque violin
. He regularly participates in numerous Baroque festivals like Bruges, Lucerne, Vienna, Brussels, Salzburg and Barcelona. His musical focus is on the Italian music of the 18th century. He plays a violin by Pietro Guarneri
