Most recently Girard has opened a liquor store. This is a large step in the right direction to bring Girard out of the dark ages and create a more modern atmosphere. Another one of Girards main busineses is The Pork Place or in Girards native tongue "The Poke Place" If you go there you will most likely meet ,Whitney Dixon, one of Girards residents that has made something of herself.
