Giorgio Morini is an Italian midfielder, who coached the Italian football team AC Milan for part of the 1996-97 season. As a player, Morini was part of the Serie A winning team of 1978/79.

Moving to AS Roma in 1972, Morini made a name for himself, representing the capitalside for the next four seasons. In 1976 he earned a contract with AC Milan, spending another four seasons there, winning the Scudetto in 1979.

Post career

Giorgio Morini took up coaching, once his active career came to an end, leading youth-teams to glory, primarily at AC Milan. When Oscar Washington Tabarez was fired from the Rossonero club in 1997, Morini took over for a short period. That was his first and, till now, last run as a coach of a topflight side.
