translator, and a scholar of Shah Waliullahi philosophy.
He wrote, compiled and translated books on various topics of religion and Islamic culture from Arabic and Persian into the Sindhi language
. He also translated books of shah wali allah dehlvi, and Allama Makhdoom Muhammad Hashim Thattvi
, and compiled various scholarly works of different scholars. He wrote prefaces to about 200 religious, historical, and literary books, and worked on Sindhi dictionarys. The university of Sindh established a chair in the name of Allama Ghulam Mustafa Qasmi in July 2004. So far this chair has published 7 books in Urdu and Sindhi.
