Gheorghe Tătaru, also known as Tătaru II, was a Romania

Tătaru joined the squad of Steaua Bucureşti as a youth in 1959, before being promoted to the first team in 1967, aged 19. He played for Steaua Bucureşti until 1974, being one of the team's best strikers. In 1974 he signed for Chimia Râmnicu VâlceaChimia Râmnicu Vâlcea
