Plot
Suryakant Garodia is married to Savitri. Savitri had 3 daughters, Saraswati, Gauri, Durga and she was now expecting a baby. The whole family was praying that Savitri gives birth to a boy but instead she gives birth to a baby girl named Laxmi. Due to problems Savitri can't conceive again. So Suryakant gets married to Menaka and she gives birth to boy named Yuvraj, but then it is later revealed that Menaka had given birth to Jhanvi, who is brought up in a brothel, but then later she learns and changes her attitude and thoughts. As the plot continues it shows how these 5 daughters face society and daily problems. Only if the society and world realized that "ghar ki lakshmi betiyaan" (daughters are the families' wealth).Cast
