As the title suggests, the song is recorded in a funk metal
style, in contrast to the more glam metal
style of most of the album (although elements of funk do appear in many of the album's other songs as well, excepting two acoustic ballads). The single was not successful in the United States but became a minor hit in the UK after reaching number 19 on the charts in June 1991.
The song was featured in the 1992 Hong Kong action film Full Contact
