Gerald put up 4 1,000 yards receiving seasons with his best coming with Ottawa in 1989 where he rolled up 1471 yards with 10 touchdowns, he also threw for a touchdown that season as well. 1994 with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers Gerald racked up 18 touchdowns and came 6 yards short of another 1,000 yard year, but set a personal best with 73 receptions.
