Georgi Ivanov Georgiev, best known as Georgi Georgiev-Getz , was a Bulgarian actor. He was born on 4 October 1926 in the village of Razpopovtsi, now a district of the town of Elena
. Plays in the Ivan Vazov National Theatre
all the time since 1953 up to his death. His best known film role is that of Yordan in the movie Selyaninat s koleloto (A Peasant on a Bicycle) for which he got the best actor award on the Varna and Moscow Film festivals. He died as a result of a heart attack on 2 September 1996 in Sofia.
