system. The groundbreaking for the new Caver High School will be held April 2, 2010 at the new construction site just off Oak Street across from the existing school. The $3.6 million school will be the first of six new schools scheduled in the first phase of the MPS building program. The new Carver High School is expected to open of August 9, 2010 and serve approximately 1,200 students.
