. It was built about 1769 and is a one and one half story, three bay, center hall plan vernacular dwelling built of uncoursed fieldstone
. It is topped by a gable roof. Gothic detailing was added in the mid-19th century. The front elevation features a wood portico with Doric order
columns. The Rymph property was purchased in 1914 by the Dominican Fathers
religious order and in 1927, the house became the property's caretaker's cottage.
It was added to the National Register of Historic Places
in 1993.
