in 1985 for the Democratic Unionist Party
(DUP).
Robinson was elected Mayor of Limavady Borough Council in June 2002.
He was elected as the MLA for East Londonderry
in 2003
An extremely popular councillor and MLA , Mr Robinson has solely built the support for the DUP in the Limavady area. Ald Robinson has been elected as Deputy Mayor in 2008/09/ and 2009/10 by a council which is SF dominated and this shows the immense respect and esteem in which Ald Robinson is held across the entire community.
