George Pfeifer is a former head men's basketball coach at the University of Idaho

. With one season remaining on his contract, Pfeifer was fired at the conclusion of the 2007–2008 season and replaced by Don Verlin, an assistant coach from Utah State University. He was hired to be the assistant coach at Montana State University Billings in June 2008.
