George Henry Cobb was an American
politician
from New York
. He was President pro tempore of the New York State Senate
and Acting Lieutenant Governor of New York
in 1910.
State Normal School in 1886, then studied law, and was admitted to the bar in 1891. On April 19, 1893, he married Louisa Wenzel (d. 1938). In 1898, he was City Recorder of Hounsfield. He was District Attorney of Jefferson County from 1899 to 1904.
He was a member of the New York State Senate
from 1905 to 1912. He was a delegate to the 1908 Republican National Convention
