Gennaro Di Giacomo, said Gege (Naples, January 17, 1918 - Naples, 1 April 2005) was an Italian singer and drummer.

Gege Di Giacomo, however, remained alongside Carosone, which aggregates other musicians to form his own band, defined itself completely in the second half of the fifties "Complex Carosone.
Many of the songs were born from Carosone long collaboration with lyricist Nisa and the merit of the extraordinary international success of these was also Gege, on the evening of May 13, 1954, the Caprice in Milan, during the introduction of pansies, suddenly shouted "Canta Napoli! On January 5, 1957 Carosone and his band in Cuba began a successful American tour, which ended with a triumphant concert at Carnegie Hall in New York.
After the farewell to the scenes of Carosone of 7 September 1960, James rushed for a while 'in the adventure solo, appearing at the 1961 Festival of Naples (where he sang All of the family, repeated by Aurelio Fierro, who was ranked third and Pi-Riki-kuke, repeated by Gloria Christian) and 1962 (where he sang Chin and fire, repeated by Cocky Mazzetti and O 'monument, repeated by Carla Boni) and putting together his own group, but did not have a success and also decided to bid farewell to the show, just making an appearance at the side of his friend Renato ever after his return on August 9, 1975.
