Gary Grimshaw is a graphic artist and poster designer specializing in the music business. He was born on February 25, 1946 in Linclon Park, Michigan. His high school best friend was Rob Derminer (Rob Tyner, stage name) who later started a band called the MC5. Gary did many images for the MC5 and worked on staff with The Rainbow Peoples Party, the Detroit Artists Workshop, Translove, and at the Hill House in Ann Arbor, Michigan (a commune) not in that order.
