Currently he has not been able to turn his early promise into consistent performances at first-class level, and after being restricted to the Somerset Second XI for the 2007 season, agreed to move to Worcestershire for 2008. Since moving to Worcestershire his performances with the bat have improved and he has hit a number of half centuries for the team, added to some impressive knocks in the shorter format game. In his first season he was the leading wicket taker in NatWest Pro40 Division 1 with 12 wickets.
