Bansihari block

s of Belbari–II, Jahangirpur and Sukdevpur under the Gangarampur block together will constitute the Kushmandi assembly constituency of West Bengal. The gram panchayats of Ashokegram, Basuria, Chaloon an Uday under the Gangarampur block will be part of the Kumarganj assembly constituency. The Gangarampur municipality and the gram panchayats of Gangarampur, Belbari–I, Damdama and Nandanpur under the Gangarampur block will be part of the Gangarampur assembly constituency. The Harirampur block and the Bangsihari block will form the Harirampur assembly constituency. Kushmandi and Gangarampur constituencies will be reserved for Scheduled castes (SC) candidates. All the four assembly constituencies will be part of the Balurghat (Lok Sabha constituency)
