After the Olympics, the Hall served as the home court of AEK Athens before the team moved to the Olympic Indoor Hall
. It has since been turned over to the private sector (Acropol Haragionis AE and Sonae Sierra SGPS S.A), and is being converted to a shopping mall and retail/entertainment complex.
