 states that he was hired as a ghost writer for Gail Palmer, researched and interviewed her, and found that she did not actually direct the movies attributed to her but was a front for her boyfriend. He did ghost-write her book but it was never published.
Her boyfriend at the time was porn distributor Harry Mohney. She would sue him in 1984 for excluding her from the profits of their movies.

In the 2006 book When Elvis Meets the Dalai Lama, author Murray Silver claims to have ghostwritten Palmer's autobiography.
