Geeqie

As of January 4, 2010 there was more than 3 years of inactivity on GQview. Since March 21, 2008, the Geeqie project has taken the code and is doing new development, with an additional set of features. Geeqie was started due to the stagnation of GQview, and because it was impossible to make contact with John Ellis. Geeqie carries on the development where GQview left off; in the Ubuntu repository now the gqview package points to Geeqie.
