in Detroit. If produced, the Granite would be GMC's smallest offering.
The Granite is powered by a 1.4 l (85.4 cu in) ecotec
turbocharged I4 that produces 138 hp and 148 lbft. This is matched to a six-speed transmission with a dual-clutch. It is currently scheduled for North American market release in the second half of 2012 (for the model year 2013).
