 in the 1950s, and was advertised as its unique decay and mouth-odor fighting ingredient. Whether or not GL-70 was a genuine ingredient is unknown.

Interestingly, a reference to GL-70 is made by the character of Grandpa in the rare color pilot for The Munsters

A tube of Gleem from the 50's notes that GL-70 is a "Trademark for the active ingredient, a blend of anionic sulfonates."
