. It was formerly called Thorpe Bay High School. Futures is based next to Southend High School for Girls. The school was given the name Futures Community College in 2007 when it became a Fresh Start School.
The current headteacher is called Simon Carpenter.
September 2010 the Uniforms changed for years 9 , 10 and 11 from light blue to dark blue .
Futures Community college is a very good school which supports students to learn.
