Fridhemsplan is not the trendiest part of Stockholm, but there is a shopping mall, since 2002, (Västermalmsgallerian) that focuses on the young middle class people who live in the area. It replaced the infamous underground "square" at the intersection of Sankt Eriksgatan and Fleminggatan streets. Fridhemsplan is known for its many low cost bars. Fridhemsplan now also has a major STF
