Spending hours each day in his basement with a friend (who pretended to video tape the action) and Kiss music blasting through the speakers, Coury pretended that he was filming a music video long before MTV became a reality. While many in his neighborhood told him to stop dreaming and get a real job, he was encouraged by his close friends to carry on. on July 15, 2009 due to the fact that Rikki had a new born baby the day before.
Coury spends his time in Los Angeles in his recording studio Double Forte Music composing and performing music for television. He also composes music, including the goal song, for the Los Angeles Kings
hockey team.
As revealed during his interview with Maul Stanley, Fred is a lifelong Star Wars
fan who enjoyed the films both while growing up and as an adult. He remembers seeing the original film during its opening week at the Cinerama Dome
in Hollywood, whereas he saw the last of the series via unofficial DVD while on a Cinderella
tour bus during the summer of 2005.

The early years
At age 5, Coury started taking violin lessons. At age 6 he participated in his first public performance. Between the ages of 7 and 9 he studied at the Beirut Conservatory of Music in Beirut, Lebanon. At age 10 he added the trumpet to his repertoire. Finally, at age 12 he started to play the drums.
